Through its charity the Armanino Foundation, the California-based accounting firm Armanino LLP has awarded $20,000 in grants to seven organizations in its communities. This is the first round of funding, which the organization says will be folllowed by regular giving through grant funding to community groups and charities that make a positive impact.

Created to empower its staff to impact community-based charities, the Armanino Foundation matches the charitable giving of each of its staff. Worthy charitable organizations in education, health and social services, animal welfare and the arts are nominated by firm employees and selected by a committee.

“Armanino and its team members have always placed high value on community involvement and corporate citizenship,”said Andy Armanino, managing partner of Armanino LLP. “The Armanino Foundation joins our annual Great Give event and additional community service events as a way Armanino staff can make a positive impact in our communities. We are so excited to announce our first round of grants funding a broad group of worthy charitable organizations. I could not be more proud of the level of support our fundraising efforts have enjoyed from firm partners and staff, who together have exceeded our goals.”
